I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a good deal. So today I’m giving you a four for one! Four girls, four fall styles and about four times the scrolling potential [thanks to our love for photography and the never ending pursuit for the perfect Instagram pic]. Girls weekend landed at the End of the World this Saturday- or as the map officially calls it, Montauk, NY. We ventured through long, winding, colorful roads to finally arrive at Long Island’s eastern most point. For those of you who don’t know Montauk, it’s a quaint little beach town with Southern-Cali vibes situated just east of the Hamptons. If the picturesque cluster of towns we fondly revere as THE Hamptons were a family- they’d be the Van Der Woodsens. And that would just happen to leave Montauk as their surrogate hipster step-family, and we’d call them the Humphreys.
Although the crowds have cleared and just about half of the restaurants and shops are closed, the beaches are still as spectacular as ever. There’s just nothing comparable to the crisp ocean air in autumn. The weather, the company and the setting were all perfectly appropriate for some New York street-style.
This season, we seem to be loving our warm neutrals. I have to say I’m guilty of neutral overload 9 out of 10 times, but in my humble opinion- you really can’t go wrong! Grey, black and camel are the go-to staples in my closet this fall. Throw on a pair of little black booties and mix it all together for an instant fool-proof outfit. And if you dare aim for the height of the fall-fashion game, go ahead and top it off with a trendy felt fedora. You’ll look effortlessly cool and be all set for a perfect photo-ready weekend!
